In a letter of recognition to SMS, Cisco stated that due to "SMS Data Products Group, Inc.'s outstanding performance over the past year, your company has qualified for its on-site audit to be waived and has been officially re-certified as a Cisco GOLD certified partner in USA."
SMS has been a Cisco partner since 1988, and 2008 marks the fifth year that SMS has met all requirements for achieving Cisco Gold certification, including personnel, support, specialization and customer satisfaction.
