SMS Awarded Army Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Project

McLean, VA | March 1, 2007 -- SMS Data Products Group, Inc., an industry leader in enterprise network services, announced that the Department of the Army has awarded SMS a task order to develop and deploy a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery solution to store and replicate data between Fort Stewart and Hunter Army Air Field. SMS will engineer, furnish, integrate, secure and test a turn key data storage solution for the Department of the Army.

The SMS team will implement this solution as part of an umbrella contract to deliver new technologies and approaches rapidly to the Army in support of mission critical applications and changing operational requirements.
