SMS Wins Part of DTRA Information Technology and Support Services Contract

McLean, VA | December 10, 2009 -- SMS Data Products Group, Inc., (SMS) a leading enterprise network services firm with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, announced today it has been awarded part of the $475 million dollar Information Technology and Support Services contract with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to deliver network engineering architecture and support.

Throughout the three-year contract duration, SMS will be teaming with contract prime, Lockheed Martin on designing, implementing and maintaining the network management platform that supports the three main networks for the agency. SMS will be performing under the INFOCON 3 Objective 3 task for Information Assurance (IA) enhancements and well suited to the project based on past performances on similar programs with the DoD and Pentagon.
