SMS Wins Portion of Department of Homeland Security's ITNOVA Contract
McLean, VA | November 9, 2009 -- SMS Data Products Group, Inc., (SMS) a leading enterprise network services firm with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, announced today it has been awarded part of the $500 million dollar Information Technology Network Operations Virtual Alliance (ITNOVA) contract with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to deliver O & M services and network engineering support.
SMS teamed with contract prime Lockheed Martin for the DHS IT infrastructure program. SMS will deliver key engineering roles in support of the DHS Chief Technology Office. SMS has enjoyed a ten year-long relationship with Lockheed Martin and will now support DHS with the same exceptional service as reflected on past-related projects.
