SMS Data Products Group, Inc. Announces New Executive Appointments
McLean, VA | January 11, 2010, -- SMS Data Products Group, Inc., (SMS) a leading enterprise network services firm with over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, announced today two executive appointments.
Effective immediately, Mr. Luis Laranjeira, Vice President of Business Development will be assuming the role of Executive Vice President. Mr. Laranjeira, who has served SMS in various engineering and business development roles for over two decades, has more than 25 years of IT experience delivering complex solutions to the federal government. In his new role as Executive Vice President, Mr. Laranjeira will continue to lead all aspects of business development as well as assisting with other duties related to operations and general corporate management. He has been instrumental in positioning SMS to become one of the premier providers of network integration solutions to the Federal Government.
Mr. John Cordeiro, Director of Government Solutions, will assume the duties of Vice President, Strategic Programs. Mr. Cordeiro has more than 25 years of extensive experience in strategic partnerships, account management, and business development within the public sector. As Vice President of Strategic Programs, Mr. Cordeiro will be responsible for cultivating and developing new business, identifying and developing strategic relationships with high-value partners, and managing key strategic programs for the company.
