SMS Achieves CMMI V2.2 Maturity Level 3 for Services and Development

McLean, VA | July 12, 2021 – SMS announced today that it completed its CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) V2.2 Maturity Level 3 for both Development and Services.  

The CMMI evaluation, which requires recertification every three years, is a process to ensure that all of the supporting documentation and practices for development and services are reviewed during a four-month appraisal led by authorized lead evaluator from Saganika Corporation. The CMMI V2.2 is a process improvement model that is now evaluated directly by the CMMI institute and provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes. CMMI, Level 3 for Services and Development helps integrate traditionally separate organizational functions, set process improvement goals and provides a point of reference for appraising current processes.
