SMS Announces US Coast Guard Computer Incident Response Team Task Order Win

McLean, VA | November 30, 2011 – SMS, a leading IT services provider and systems integration firm with nearly 40 years of experience providing IT solutions to the Federal Government, announced today it has been awarded a task order from the United States Coast Guard working with contract prime, NetCentrics Corp. of Herndon, Virginia.

The team was awarded a twelve month task order providing support to the United States CGCIRT with IDS infrastructure support and computer network defense. SMS and NetCentrics specifically will provide technical, administrative, and security management services maintaining information systems security and systems security analysis, computer incident support, digital forensic analysis, and a full CGCIRT 24x7x365 network and systems watch and support.
