We are an approved partner of the Department of Defense Skillbridge Program, which connects transitioning service members to on-the-job training opportunities within SMS. Interested military service members should apply through the DoD SkillBridge Program within 180 days or less of transitioning into the civilian workforce.

SMS Receives 2021 Letter of Recognition


SMS is proud to have been recognized by the 231st Military Police Battalion of the Alabama Army National Guard. Our employee Iverianna “Ivy” Williams, who supports our Air Force customer at Gunter-Maxwell, nominated SMS after her 30-day National Guard leave was unexpectedly extended to nearly 6 months serving on the frontline.  Her SMS Program Manager Melody Smith, helped support her during the extended time away from home by reaching out to connect and also sending care packages. Thank you to the 231st Military Police Battalion and thank you Ivy for your service!
