SMS is thrilled to recognize George Selby with April’s President’s Award. George has been with SMS for over 15 years as a key contributor to our warehouse and logistics requirements, including receiving and managing inventory, shipments, and making deliveries. In April, George received a recognition from our Pentagon customer commenting that George is always patient and willing to assist any way he can during Materials delivery. Thank you for your hard work and dedication to our customers’ mission, and to SMS, George!
We applaud Nelson Vega’s contributions to SMS and our customer with May’s President’s award. Nelson has been with SMS since 2022 as a Network Engineer supporting our Army customer. He has been recognized several times over the years for stepping up to help his teammates and customers on short notice. Nelson’s proactive approach and dedication to resolving problems was recently validated in a unique way. Two years after helping a customer from Headquarters with a computer issue, this same individual—remembering Nelson’s exceptional service—reached out to him directly for help with another problem. The customer then followed up with Nelson’s supervisor to compliment his “professional, courteous, and patient support.”
We are excited to recognize Sean Donnellan with June’s President’s award. Since joining SMS in 2018, Sean has been consistently recognized by both peers and customers as an exceptional engineer, teammate, and person. As a SATCOM Systems Engineer he provides outstanding support to our Army customer. Our client has highlighted that “the in-depth knowledge and willingness to help is what stands out the most about Mr. Donnellan.” His subject matter expertise and his passion to support the mission are evident and tremendously appreciated.
