With a ceiling of $5 billion, the CSTAT scope includes research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) efforts relating to software and data analysis; cyber security and information assurance; modeling and simulation; and knowledge management and information sharing.
As a prime contract winner in the Partial Small Business Set-aside pool, SMS and its subcontractors will compete for task orders with an estimated value up to $3.5 million. The CSTAT contract has a five (5) year ordering period and up to a ten (10) year period of performance, and can be used by all DoD components, other U.S. Government agencies and departments, state and local governments, industry and academia.
The IAC contracts are identified by the ASD(R&E) as best value vehicles, and are highly encouraged as vehicles of first choice for technical research and analysis requirements.
