McLean, VA | November 28, 2018 – SMS, a leading IT solutions provider and systems integration firm with over 40 years of experience providing innovative solutions to the federal government, announced today that it has been awarded the Department of the Navy’s SeaPort Next Generation (SeaPort-NxG) contract vehicle.

The SeaPort-NxG indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), multiple-award contract spans 46 of the 50 states and provides support service opportunities to the US Navy with a total value of $5 billion and includes a five-year base period of performance with an additional five-year ordering period option. The scope includes 23 functional areas that cover all aspects of IT services.
