SMS Wins Base-Level Information Technology Services (BLITS) Task Order

McLean, VA | August 07, 2017 – SMS, a leading IT solutions provider and systems integration firm with over 41 years of experience providing innovative solutions to the Federal Government is proud to announce the award of the US Air Force’s (USAF) Base-Level Information Technology Services (BLITS) Task Order at Hanscom Air Force Base, under the NETCENTS-2 NetOps and Infrastructure Solutions contract.

The $39.9 million, three years, task order supports Hanscom Air Force Base’s (HAFB) 66th Communication and Information Squadron/Division (66th ABG/SC) mission to secure, support, and sustain information and information systems through effective and efficient service delivery. Specifically, the BLITS contract services include network infrastructure, server support, UC/Voice infrastructure, EIS/Web services, the client service center, vulnerability management & AF Enterprise Systems Support, Communications Focal Point Operations, the Wing (Installation) Cybersecurity Office (WCSO), cable plant management, and general IT asset management and IT administrative requirements.
