SMS’ Tom Kupiec to Moderate Panel Discussion at AFCEA MILCOM 2014
McLean, VA | August 28, 2014 – SMS, a leading IT services provider and systems integration firm with nearly 40 years of experience providing IT solutions to the Federal Government, announced today that Tom Kupiec, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at SMS and former CISO at the National Geo Spatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), will be leading a panel discussion and the AFCEA MILCOM Symposium October 6, 2014.
SMS’s Chief Information Security Officer, Thomas Kupiec will moderate a cyber security panel discussing continuous monitoring and the Advanced Persistent Threats (APT) faced by many large federal agencies. Other panel members include some of preeminent thought leaders in federal cyber and network security. Confirmed panelist include:

Panel members for this keynote panel discussion will discuss interesting past challenges and associated solutions that work. Conference attendees can leverage the knowledge of industry and government’s most senior cyber security experts and learn from their experience.

The Keynote panel discussion will take place the first day of the 2014 MILCOM Symposium, Monday, October 6, at 10 am to 12:00 pm. It will take place in Hall F on the main floor of the exhibit hall.
