SMS Announces The Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) II Win

McLean, VA | November 27, 2019 – SMS, a leading IT solutions provider and systems integration firm with over 40 years of experience providing innovative solutions to the federal government announced today their award of the U.S. Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) II Task Order (TO).

The $94M, five-year task order was awarded to SMS on the NETCENTS 2 NetOps and Infrastructure Solutions Small Business Contract. SMS will be supporting the 26th Network Operations Squadron (26 NOS) at Maxwell Air Force Base-Gunter Annex, Montgomery, Alabama. The mission of the 26 NOS is to provide mission assurance to the warfighter through the operation, management, and defense of the Department of Defense Informational Network (DoDIN).

Bean, SMS’ Senior Customer Advocate, who led the capture of this effort, commented, “SMS is humbled, honored, and excited to be selected to assist in this very important Air Force mission in defending their worldwide gateways and to take this Air Force mission to the next level.
