McLean, VA | July 25, 2013 – SMS, a leading IT services provider and systems integration firm with nearly 40 years of experience providing IT solutions to the Federal Government, announced today, it has been awarded a 5-year, multi-million dollar IT contract with the Export-Import Bank of the United States as part of the Knight Point Systems, LLC team.

The five-year contract supports the bank’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). The nature of the work is primarily focused on network operations and engineering, end-user support, and network security services. The majority of the contract’s responsibilities will take place at their DC headquarters with other tasks focused on facilitating communication amongst their twelve regional export finance centers.
